To stimulate interest in this work, it is presented as a modern day "oracle" motivating one to draw answers from the wisdom of the ancient. "Draw" therefore a card with a sincere question in your heart and the diachronic "Pythia" will "answer" through the mouth of the ancient ones!
In all there were 147 aphorisms inscribed in the pronaos (forecourt) of the temple wall of Apollo and they served as a code of ethics for the Greek world at the time. In this work we have placed these under 43 titles. They include aspects which relate to sides and facets of everyday life such as, VIRTUE, HEALTH, FAMILY, FRIENDSHIP, JUSTICE, MARRIAGE, WORK, HOPE etc. Each of the cards has one of these titles and the booklet that is included in the box comments on these 43 topic cards. The wisdom of our ancient therefore has the power to defy time, to give answers and to illuminate our days today!
These cards you have in your hands are not exactly “an oracle" although they can answer your personal queries. To use them, you must above all trust your intuition. After you have your question in mind, hold and shuffle the cards. Then with concentration, allowing your hand to be guided pull one or more cards.
Trust your "Higher Self" who will lead you to choose correctly. If you "pull" more than one card, read the messages of the cards you have pulled. Appreciate the oracle! Take advantage of the wisdom of the ancients; understand, respect, and use their instructions and advice for it will enhance your life.
